Congratulations to Dr. April Pyle who was just awarded a 5 year 1.6 million dollar grant from the NIH entitled "Reprogramming and Directed Differentiation of Skeletal Muscle Cells from Pluripotent Stem Cells.' This important work will teach us how to best turn human stem cells into muscle cells with potential for muscle regeneration in DMD.
